Refillable Leather Journal

This style leather bound blank book is most reminiscent of
 traditional library tomes of antiquity.
 This style is crafted with genuine leather wrapped tightly and glued to binders board. This is a hard cover blank leather book or journal. The pages inside are loose-leaf and held in place by hand lacing a leather cord through punched holes along the spine edge. Both sizes accomodate standard 3 hole punch paper.The interior is lined with a matching color felt and a ribbon page marker is added.

 Leather Colors Available

 Designs may be added to this style. The design is hand built onto the binders board with leather cord and pieces before covering. The cover leather is then hand molded around the design creating a bas relief effect.
 This design is solid and will not flatten with time.

Designs Available

 All books are crafted blank (no lines) with an acid free parchment paper, natural color, 60lb weight.

Perfect for fountain pens, calligraphy and quill and ink!

 This style binding was inspired by the early codex
side-stabbed binding method.
